NEGifted promotes quality educational opportunities for individuals with high abilities through advocacy, education, and leadership.
Advocacy
NEGifted continually works with policy makers at the state and local levels to encourage programs and funding that provides for and benefits high ability students.
Education
NEGifted works to strengthen and encourage the implementation of practices and accommodations that support the unique learning needs and intellectual levels of hight ability students.
Leadership
Through collaboration and cooperation with community stakeholders across Nebraska, NEGifted strives to advance the abilities and develop the potential of high ability students.
The Nebraska Association for the Gifted (NEGifted) wishes to extend this invitation to join our organization as it works with parents, educators, legislators, and the public to provide services and recognize the needs and contributions of gifted children in our state.
We seek the active involvement of educators, parents, and community members in support of its mission.
Membership is $25 per year and is open to all persons.
The activities of the organization are governed by a fifteen-member board composed of teachers, consultants, administrators, college and university faculty, and parents.
